An historic county property will offer a pop-up bed and breakfast experience to guests in August.

Gilmerton House, near Athelstaneford, is offering a limited opportunity that promises to deliver guests an enchanting and memorable stay at the historic property.

Over selected dates throughout August, the business will run 'Rooms By Gilmerton House' which will transform the premises from an exclusive-use property into a luxurious B&B that offers guests the opportunity to stay in one of the ten elegantly appointed bedrooms.

As part of the pop-up experience, guests will also have access to an array of exclusive amenities and activities such as billiards room, driving range, croquet lawn, grand piano, a wide selection of board games, and yoga mats in each bedroom.

Each morning, a continental breakfast grazing table will be set out for all guests, utilising locally sourced produce.

Guests are also welcome to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the grounds with leisurely strolls through the estate's gardens, and the captivating countryside and local area.

Graham Booth, general manager at Gilmerton House, said: “Creating a pop-up style experience allows us to offer our unique and peaceful surroundings to smaller groups and couples who may not usually get the opportunity to stay at this wonderful and historic property.

“Whether it's a romantic getaway, a special occasion, or simply a desire to indulge in the finer things in life, Gilmerton House promises an extraordinary and secluded escape.”
