A day of wellness and relaxation is being held at historic Newhailes House & Gardens at Musselburgh on Saturday, July 8.

The event, run in partnership with the team at East Lothian Wellbeing Collaborative, will take place in the privacy of the back lawn of the Palladian mansion from 10am to 4pm.

Wellbeing practitioners from East Lothian and Edinburgh have been brought together at the National Trust for Scotland attraction for a day of talks, workshops, meditation, yoga, pilates, stalls and food.

The £10 general admission ticket includes all the talks and workshops, access to the relaxation area, stalls, food and drink.

A therapy area will feature masseurs, reiki, reflexology and facials.

There will also be tasters from Bannatyne Gym and Queen Margaret University.

Free talks are: 10am, Jonathan Clogstoun-Willmott – How to get ill, how to get well! Help from Chinese medicine; 11am, Tingle and Glow – nutrition and gut health specialist; noon, Celtic Calm – benefits and facts about CBD oils; 1pm, Claire Grigson – Empowered Love – what you need to know, for your love life to thrive; 2pm, Laura Riley and Sarah Nixon – Soulful Living; 3pm, Sarah Jennings – Aura Transformation.

Talks in marquee 2: 10am, Sober Buzz Panel – living with sobriety and having fun; 11am, Wendy Kelly – herbal medic and menopause; noon, Helen Cook – calm baby sleep expert – ‘how to have a calm newborn and beyond’; 1pm, Jacquelyn Armour – Follow Your Joy – Why Not?; 2pm, Claymore Tribe – Paul McNeill and David Allison – men’s mental health and emotional support; 3pm, Zoey Forbes – menopause and fitness.

Movement classes and therapy tasters cost extra. Booking is required for yoga and visitors should bring their own yoga mats. Booking is also required for the meditation and soundbath enclosure.
