A number of key roads in Tranent will be closed for a short period of time today for Tranent’s annual gala parade and gala day.
From 10.30am-11am Northfield, Ormiston Crescent West and Ormiston Avenue will be closed to traffic to allow for the gala parade to take place.
Loch Road, Ormiston Road, High Street, Church Street and Winton Place will be closed to traffic from 12.30pm-1pm.
Pedestrian and emergency access will be maintained at all times.
It is expected that a high volume of pedestrians will be present at the event and drivers are urged to be cautious when driving.
