ONE of the main routes in and out of Tranent is currently closed.
Cones are across the road at Ormiston Road's junction with Waterloo Road.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed there had been an incident before 5pm today (Friday).
They said: "Around 4.50pm on Friday, police were called to a report of a two vehicle road crash on the B6371, near Tranent.
"Officers are currently in attendance."
The condition of those in the vehicles is currently unknown.
