Gifford Community Woodland
THE chance to explore ingredients in a community woodland is being offered next week.
Gifford Community Woodland has teamed up with Galloway Wild Foods for two special events.
A guided foraging walk takes place in the woodlands on Tuesday, 2-6pm, before an accessible forage the following day, 1-4pm.
On May 14, there is a chance to learn about the moth population in the village’s woodlands, in a short, informative session from 10am to 11.30am.
