Police are appealing for information after a 79-year-old man was taken to hospital following a crash between a cyclist and a car in Dunbar.
The incident happened today at about 10.14am on Dunbar High Street at Brewery Lane.
A 79-year-old man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh following the incident.
The 60-year-old female driver of the silver Vauxhall Astra was not injured.
Police are asking anyone who saw the incident happen or with information about the incident to come forward.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information following a crash involving a cyclist and car in Dunbar.
"The incident happened around 10.14am on Sunday, April 23, on the High Street at the junction with Brewery Lane.
"The cyclist, a 79-year-old man, was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
"The driver of the silver Vauxhall Astra, a 60-year-old woman, was not injured."
Police constable Stewart Logan said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances of what happened are ongoing.
“Anyone who saw what happened or who has dash-cam footage that can assist is asked to call us on 101, quoting incident number 1121 of Sunday, 23 April, 2023.”
