Sixth-year pupils at Ross High School enjoyed a weekend trip to Dalguise to take part in several outdoor activities.
PGL Dalguise adventure centre is located north of Dunkeld, near Perth, in a wooded valley. Activities on offer are designed to motivate youngsters and build teamwork and confidence.
Despite the snowy conditions, pupils remained keen to give the activities, including rock climbing, tree climbing and archery, a go.
Paul Reynolds, headteacher at Ross High, said: “It was really pleasing to see the return of our annual S6 trip – 47 of our S6 pupils spent the weekend taking part in outdoor activities at Dalguise, accompanied by six staff from the school.
“I was fortunate enough to join them and can confirm it was a fantastic weekend.
“The pupils were great and everyone attempted all the activities, no matter how challenging they were.
“A few had legs like jelly (including me) on a couple of the higher activities but we got there in the end!
“The pupils seemed to have a really good time and were grateful to the staff for going along and to Mrs Campbell for organising the trip.”
