A COUNTY man has been caught driving a vehicle while more than three times the alcohol limit.
Evaldas Macivlis, 32, was caught with 78mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath when he was stopped by police officers at The Causeway in Edinburgh.
Macivlis was also said to have driven his vehicle without due care and attention during the incident on August 26 last year, but his plea of not guilty to that offence was accepted by the Crown.
Macivlis, of Gilbert Avenue, North Berwick, admitted the drink-drive charge at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday. Sheriff Fiona Reith handed him an interim ban and deferred sentence to next month.
