AN EAST Lothian singer is getting ready to strut her stuff on a popular morning football programme.

Brooke Combe, from Wallyford, will be among those appearing on Sky's Soccer AM programme this morning (Saturday).

Soccer AM has been a regular feature of Saturday morning football entertainment for more than 20 years.

Combe, who performed at last year's TRNSMT outdoor music festival in Glasgow, will be joined by former Newcastle United and Aston Villa midfielder Nolberto Solano and former rugby star James Haskell.

The singer, who next month will be performing at SXSW in America, went viral with her version of the '70s hit Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, by Baccara, which became a Scottish anthem for the men's football team after reaching the European Championships for the first time in more than 20 years.

Since then, she has supported Paolo Nutini and enjoyed her own seven-date headline tour.

Soccer AM is screened at 10.30am on Sky Sports and Sky Showcase.

It is the second week in a row that East Lothian has been represented on the popular show.

Last week, Molly Vevers, who starred in six-part drama The Rig alongside seasoned TV actors such as Martin Compston and Emily Hampshire, appeared on the show.

The Rig set on a oil rig in the North Sea and follows a group of workers getting ready to leave the platform when it is overcome with a mysterious fog that brings supernatural forces with it.
