The path that will be closed for the felling of the tree
A well-used path in Longniddry will be closed next month to facilitate the felling of a diseased tree in Baker’s Wood.
The path will close for a total of three days from February 21 to allow contractors to safely remove the tree.
The closure will mean those wishing to walk between King’s Avenue and Charteris Road will need to use a different route. Additionally, the path that accesses Orchard Court from King’s Avenue will also be closed.
There will be signs and barriers in place to advise residents of the closure.
