STARS of Doctor Who, Peaky Blinders and Outlander will be discussed at Musselburgh-based Queen Margaret University’s latest Community Forum.

Residents and interested parties are invited to the next online event on Wednesday at 6.30pm to find out about some of the university’s acting, drama and creative arts graduates who have had success in TV, film and theatre.

The Community Forums take place twice a year and give people the chance to interact directly with university staff and discuss subjects of common interest.

At the next meeting, Thomas Kelly, the university’s head of development and alumni relations, will talk about the careers of graduates from performing arts who can be found working on productions as diverse as Doctor Who, Peaky Blinders, River City, Outlander, CBeebies, Still Game, The Night Manager and Assassin’s Creed.

Patrick Boxall, lecturer in education, will be returning to the Community Forum to give an update on the university’s Outdoor Education Hub.

Those wishing to attend should register interest by emailing marketing@qmu.ac.uk for a Microsoft Teams link which can be used to join the meeting.
