A MUSSELBURGH audience have the chance to see Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke make her West End debut in The Seagull when it is screened live to The Brunton this evening (Thursday).

The actress, who starred as Daenerys Targaryen in the smash-hit TV series, is part of the cast for the 21st-century retelling of Anton Chekhov's tale of love and loneliness; the National Theatre Live performance starts at 7pm.

On Wednesday, November 9, at 7.30pm, Brett Morgan’s cinematic experience follows the unseen footage and musical journey of David Bowie in Moonage Daydream (15).

This first officially sanctioned movie on the artist is told through Bowie’s own narration in this kaleidoscopic film.

The National Theatre of Scotland bring May Sumbwanyambe’s play Enough of Him to life on Friday, November 11, and Saturday, November 12, at 7.30pm.

Based on a true story, the performance explores the life of Joseph Knight, an African man enslaved by plantation owner Sir John Wedderburn and brought to Scotland to serve in his Perthshire mansion.

On Tuesday, November 15, at noon, music lovers are invited to enjoy a lunchtime concert in Venue 2.

Attendees can catch up with friends over a soup and a sandwich served in the upstairs bar, then hear the music of clarinetist Jonathan Leibowitz (pictured above), who has performed with the Israel Philharmonic and is set to make his debut with the London Mozart Players, and pianist Eran Sulkin.

The Manfreds arrive at The Brunton at 7.30pm on the same day with a setlist of iconic music of the 1960s from chart-topping rock band Manfred Mann.

See How They Run (12A) on Wednesday, November 16, at 7.30pm, is a new crime movie starring Inspector Stoppard (Sam Rockwell) and eager new rookie Constable Stalker (Saoirse Ronan).
