HALLOWE’EN-themed goodies are on the menu at Haddington Farmers’ Market on Saturday.

Pumpkin and chocolate brioches, spiced pumpkin scones and spooky treats are on offer, as well as a range of spicy chutneys from the Spice Witch.

Mungoswells Flour will also have lots of Hallowe’en-themed baked goods, plus one large decorated cake for £10, which will see money go to Muirfield Riding Therapy.

As well as pumpkins for carving, people are being encouraged to think of what they can do with the pumpkin flesh, including soups, stews, curries, risottos, cakes and pies.

There will also be no shortage of choice when it comes to seasonal fruit and vegetables. From apples, beetroot and broccoli to chillies, elderberries and turnips, there will be plenty on offer.

There will also be plenty of stocking fillers available at many of the 25 stalls.

Haddington Pipe Band will be performing at the Court Street market, which runs from 9am to 1pm.

There is plenty of free parking at the rear of John Muir House.
