A THIEF who stole items from a Tranent home will be sentenced next month.
Kevin Edwards took a quantity of food, alcohol, electrical goods and medication from the property at Ormiston Road.
Edwards, 45, pleaded guilty to the offence, which took place on June 29, 2019, when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Wednesday.
The Crown accepted a not guilty plea to a charge of stealing jewellery from a home at Ross Crescent in Tranent on the same date.
Sheriff Frank Crowe deferred sentence on Edwards, of New Street, Musselburgh, for the preparation of reports to October 5.
