ALL performances at The Brunton in Musselburgh are scheduled to go ahead as planned over the next fortnight.
There will be a one-minute silence before each performance as a mark of respect following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The Brunton Hall on Ladywell Way was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother in 1971.
Michael Stitt, chairman of the Brunton Theatre Trust, said: “The Brunton Theatre Trust and staff are saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and offer sincere condolences to the Royal Family.
“East Lothian Council has set up a dedicated webpage eastlothian.gov.uk/queen-elizabeth with tributes from the Provost and Lord Lieutenant.
“There is also a link to an online book of condolence should people wish to send their own message of condolence to the Royal Family.
“In accordance with national guidance, performances at The Brunton will go ahead in the coming days but there will be a one-minute silence before each performance as a mark of respect.”
