East Lothian residents could face further disruption amid another Met Office yellow weather warning in the county.

The national weather service has put in place the warning from 4 am to 10 am on Thursday morning and has predicted heavy rain with a chance of flooding. 

The rain could result in some localised flooding and impact bus and train services.

The weather forecaster predicts that the bands of heavy rain will move northwards across Scotland throughout the early morning. 

It is expected that around 20-30mm of rain could land over the space of a few hours with some areas likely to get up to 40mm. 

The rain is expected to turn more showery later in the morning.
