A book group with a difference meets in Musselburgh every month.
Walk & Talk, run by Ageing Well East Lothian, starts with a walk of around 45 minutes to one hour around the town.
Following this, participants head back to the local library’s outside seating area for a cup of tea and biscuits to discuss the books they have read that month.
Alternatively, people can chat about the books during the walk if they are unable to stay afterwards.
The group meets outside the library at 10am on the first Monday of each month, with the next walk due on September 5.
To book your place, contact Parvine Jazayeri, Ageing Well coordinator, via pjazayeri@east lothian.gov.uk or 07718 117585.
