A LAW firm with offices in Dunbar, Haddington, North Berwick and Tranent has raised more than £1,000 for nine charities by volunteering to write wills.
Garden Stirling Burnet (GSB) took part in Will Aid last November, a campaign which sees solicitors waive their fees for basic wills and invite clients to make donations instead.
The donations are shared with Will Aid’s nine partner charities throughout the UK and around the world.
The firm raised £1,050 in total during last year’s campaign.
Lauren Buchanan, senior solicitor at GSB, said: “The last two years have been an incredibly difficult time for everyone, especially charities who have continued to work tirelessly to support vulnerable people.
“Thank you to all our clients who took this opportunity to protect their wishes and support a great cause.”
