POLICE officers in North Berwick have released their latest crime report covering incidents in June.

In the evening of Saturday, June 4, a report was received of an intoxicated man making a nuisance of himself in the High Street area. Police attended but found no trace of the man, nor evidence of crimes being committed.

It was reported to police on Tuesday, June 14, that a vehicle had been parked, possibly abandoned, on West Bay Court. Checks were made and the vehicle was found to have no MOT or tax. The DVLA was notified and asked to uplift the vehicle.

Between the evening of Sunday, June 19, and the morning of Monday, June 20, a van was broken into and hand tools stolen.

On Thursday, June 21, police received a call to Gilbert Avenue regarding youths causing a nuisance. No youths were discovered on arrival. Information was passed to the school liaison officer to liaise with school.

On Saturday, June 25, police were called to a possible drunk driver in North Berwick. Police traced the vehicle and the driver provided a negative breath test.

A total of 69 parking tickets were issued by parking attendants in North Berwick in May.
