A FUNDRAISER in memory of a Port Seton woman has raised nearly £2,000 for the day care centre she attended.

On April 14, Lynn Edmond hosted a Prosecco afternoon tea fundraiser at the Port Seton Centre for John Bellany Day Centre in memory of her mum Agnes Banks. Agnes loved attending the centre and Lynn wanted to give something back for all the care and support her mum had received.

Lynn, family and friends raised a massive £1,905 for the centre, with 150 people attending the event.

China Blue, Gary MacFarlane, Mags Foster and John Edmond all took to the stage.

A spokesperson for the centre said: “We would like to thank all who helped and participated in what was a wonderful, fun-filled day.”

Last month, a cheque was presented to the centre (see image).
