Musselburgh Windsor Girls will be looking for a cup double when two of their sides face up in finals of the Southeast League Cup on Sunday.

Windsor’s U14s and U18s will now take on Spartans Reilly and Hutchison Vale respectively at Ainslie Park, the home of Spartans.

The U14s booked their place in the final after a fantastic 5-2 victory over Murieston and the U18s defeated Spartans McMahon with four second half goals, securing a comfortable 4-0 triumph.

The U14s will play first, kicking off at 11.45am, while the U18s will take the field at 4.45pm.

Giorgia De Martino, Musselburgh Windsor U18 captain, was excited to get the game underway and wanted to thank everyone who helped the girls achieve so much already.

She said: “The girls have worked so hard to reach this final and will continue to work hard in the games coming up after the final.

“I’m so proud of the girls and our amazing coaches for getting us this far, so early into the season.

“We are expecting a tough game, as Hutchie are always well organised, but we have full confidence in the preparation and hard work we have put in for this final and all the squad are so excited for Sunday’s game.

“I am so proud to lead the girls out in yet another final on Sunday.”

Entry is £5 for adults, £2 for concessions and kids go free as the club hoped fans would turn out in numbers to support the girls.
