Spring audiences can enjoy a variety of live drama and musical theatre at The Brunton in Musselburgh.

In association with David Ross and Tommie Travers, a new amateur production of one of Scotland’s most popular and successful musicals, Sunshine On Leith, written by Stephen Greenhorn, will be presented from next Wednesday (May 25) to next Saturday (May 28) at 2pm and 7.30pm.

The ever popular Rapture Theatre returns to the venue with classic lunchtime theatre, Rapture Bites: A Number, on Saturday, June 4.

Audiences can enjoy light lunch at noon, followed by the play at 1pm. Caryl Churchill’s drama won the Evening Standard Award for Best Play.

Meanwhile, the comedy play inspired by Celtic FC and Lisbon Lion Bertie Auld, Bend It Like Bertie, can be seen at The Brunton on June 11 (7.30pm).
