A DISCO evening featuring a buffet, tombola and raffle – including prizes such as an Ibrox tour, Josh Taylor signed gloves and restaurant vouchers – will take place in Prestonpans next month to raise money for a young girl living in West Lothian.

The fundraising afternoon will take place at Prestoungrange Gothenburg on June 11 in aid of Arabella Green.

The little girl was diagnosed with arthrogryposis as a baby and flew to Poland earlier this year for surgery.

Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC) is a rare disease that affects one or more areas of the body before birth.

The joints affected become permanently fixed in a bent or straightened position and it can completely restrict movement.

William Green, Ella's dad, was forced to give up working to look after Ella following the unexpected death of her mother from suicide in March last year.

Kath Green Seath, Ella's great aunt, previously hosted a fundraiser at The Goth last month, raising £4,760.

This time round, Edinburgh medium Stacey Powch-Scott and Good Vibrations Disco from Musselburgh will donate their services for free.

So far, prizes on offer include:

  • A caravan break from Monday to Friday with three bedrooms at Berwick Holiday Park
  • A personal signed glove from Josh Taylor
  • Two adult entry tickets to Musselburgh Racecourse
  • Luca's Ice Cream hamper box
  • A stadium tour of Ibrox for four people and a signed photograph, donated by Rangers FC
  • A £200 voucher for a county painter
