The woman was struck by the car on Saturday
A woman was taken to hospital after she was hit by a car in Cockenzie on Saturday.
The 40-year-old was struck by the vehicle at about 5pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.05 pm on Saturday, May 14, 2022, police were called after a 40-year-old woman was struck by a car on School Lane, Cockenzie.
"She was taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where she was treated and has since been discharged.
"No further police action [was taken]."
