Whittingehame residents raised £3,250 from a special community fundraiser for a Scottish team providing support to Ukrainian refugees.
Pupils from Belhaven Hill School in Dunbar and East Linton Primary School helped plan the fundraiser, which included a tombola, coffee and cake, beat-the-goalie, a lucky dip and a home-baking stall, and was held in Girlguiding East Lothian’s headquarters at Allison Cargill House.
The money raised will be donated to Fife-based charity Siobhan’s Trust, whose members are supplying food and drinks to Ukrainian refugees entering Poland.
