Subjects of common interest can be discussed at the next online community forum hosted by Queen Margaret University (QMU) at Musselburgh.
Meetings usually take place twice a year and give community representatives and individuals the chance to interact directly with university staff.
The forum, on Wednesday at 6.30pm, will feature a short talk from Sue Northrop, director of Dementia Friendly East Lothian.
She will outline plans for a new meeting centre located in Musselburgh for people with dementia, which will be funded by East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership.
This will be followed by a presentation on the Enhanced Learning Tutoring Initiative from Callum McGuire, the university’s head of widening participation and outreach.
Afterwards, there will be a 15-minute question-and-answer session. Participants will be able to follow and take part in the discussion online from home.
Those interested in attending the community forum should register by emailing marketing@qmu.ac.uk
