A TRANENT thief has been admonished after admitting stealing from a county supermarket.
Lee MacDonald, of Innes Buildings, New Row, took a quantity of food without paying from the Asda store in Tranent.
MacDonald pleaded guilty to the offence, which took place on March 11, 2019, during an appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last week. Sheriff Donald Corke warned the 40-year-old of his future behaviour and admonished him on the charge.
