With the Easter Holidays on the horizon, the National Trust for Scotland is on hand to make sure you and the kids have a cracking time in East Lothian.
Trying to keep your little ones entertained can be eggs-hausting (sorry) at the best of times which is why we’re sharing a little inspiration to help keep them occupied over the break.
Here are some of the spring activities that you and the family can get up to including everything from Easter egg hunts to fun family-friendly crafts.

Here’s a selection of the National Trust for Scotland's Easter activities that the whole family can try in East Lothian.
Easter egg hunts
Newhailes House and Gardens in Musselburgh are open across Easter for lots of family fun.
The stunning Palladian mansion is hosting an Easter egg trail across the weekend from April -15-18 with various times available.
Tickets for the Easter Egg Hunt start at £4 and can be purchased through the National Trust for Scotland website.

National Trust Easter Walks
Take a Spring stroll through the Inveresk Lodge Garden, located just south of Musselburgh.
There's a discovery trail for children where they can spot all of the flora and fauna and if you come prepared with your own net, you can go pond dipping too.
Alternatively, once you've finished exploring Newhailes House, the 18th-century designed woodland landscape is ideal for working up an appetite for the delights of the Stables Café.
Easter craft ideas
If the weather is less than egg-cellent this Easter, there’s still fun to be had with the National Trust’s craft tutorials.
