PEOPLE throughout East Lothian are being encouraged to embrace their creative side through a new project.

MADE in East Lothian launched its Creative Connections scheme at the end of last month.

The Haddington-based social enterprise held an open day and is looking for people to promote its ethos of make, create and reuse.

Fiona Lambert, MADE in East Lothian director, was working on upcycling a well-loved rocking horse as a project commissioned by a member of the public.

A series of events and workshops are planned over the next six months to encourage creativity within the East Lothian community and to support local artists and makers.
