Firefighters were called out after a swing caught fire
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a park in Prestonpans on Saturday after a swing was on fire.
Fire services attended at Cuthill Park after a timber swing was discovered burning.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 9.57pm to reports of a fire in the open at Cuthill Park.
"Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the scene to extinguish a fire affecting a timber swing.
"Firefighters left after making the area safe.
"There were no reported casualties.”
