GOLF star Catriona Matthew has been honoured with the Paul Harris Fellowship by North Berwick Rotary Club.
The Solheim Cup captain accepted the award at a meeting of the club at Glen Golf Club last month.
She also gave a presentation about her life in the golfing world.
The award, named after the Rotary International founder, is often reserved for the exceptional work of Rotarians but also given out on occasion to non-members who have contributed greatly to the community.
As one of Scotland’s top golfers, Catriona Matthew grew up learning the game in the town and has become an inspiration to young golfers to take up the sport.
