A MOTORIST has been stopped by police while 11 times over the drink-drive limit – one of the highest readings seen by officers.

The legal drink-drive limit in Scotland is 22mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath.

Police took to social media to highlight the incident - and posted an image showing a reading of 244mg.

They said: “This driver provided a roadside sample over 11 times the limit for Dunbar Road Policing last night.

“One of the highest we’ve seen, and the risk they took by driving doesn’t bear thinking about.
