TEMPORARY traffic lights will be in operation during a 12-month project to install a new water mains pipe in the Carberry area near Whitecraig.

These new water mains are to support new housing developments in Wallyford.

The pipe will be installed along the A6124 from the roundabout at Whitecraig Road to the junction at Crossgatehall by Mackenzies Construction of behalf of Scottish Water.

Work is due to start on Monday, January 31, with the project expected to take about 12 months to complete.

Construction will be carried out in sections starting at the roundabout at Whitecraig Road and at the junction at Crossgatehall, moving towards each other.

Temporary traffic lights will be in use for the duration of the work.
