A GP PRACTICE has confirmed that it is changing the way patients order prescriptions.
The change, adopted by Gullane Medical Practice, came into effect last Wednesday and means the village surgery will no longer accept telephone requests for prescriptions.
Patients can now order prescriptions in four different ways: online through the practice website; via a chosen pharmacy; using a ticked medication slip which should be delivered to reception; or by completing a repeat prescription form available at reception.
A spokesperson for the doctors’ surgery said: “Thank you for your co-operation in improving the service we provide.”
