MEMBERS of the public are being urged not to feed the ponies at two county beauty spots.
Carrots have been found at Traprain Law, with the issue reported to East Lothian Council’s Countryside Ranger Service.
A spokesperson for the group reminded people not to feed the animals.
They said: “These ponies, and those at North Berwick Law, are wild and have plenty of lovely grasses and plants to choose from.
“It is therefore essential that the public do not feed the ponies as we need them to graze the Laws and improve the areas for biodiversity.”
