AN APPEAL has been launched to help youngsters who are struggling this Christmas.
The Rotary Club of Dunbar has teamed up with BeGreen Dunbar to see an ‘Angel Tree’ take pride of place in the High Street shop’s window.
The tree will be decorated with angels that describe the gender, age and interests of a child in the community.
Anyone passing can take a tag and buy a gift which matches the description on the angel.
A spokesperson for BeGreen Dunbar said: “Instructions on where to return the gift can be found on the angels.
“By taking an angel tag from our tree this Christmas, you will be helping to fulfil the needs and desires of those children for whom Christmas morning may not be so special.”
