MATT Damon, Ben Affleck and Jodie Comer take to the big screen at The Fraser Centre on Saturday evening.
The trio star in The Last Duel, which focuses on respected knight Jean de Carrouges.
When the much-admired squire Jacques Le Gris viciously assaults Carrouges’ wife, she steps forward to accuse her attacker, an act of bravery and defiance that puts her life in jeopardy.
The film, directed by Ridley Scott, is shown at 7pm with a second screening at the Tranent venue next Thursday (November 18) at 2pm.
Meanwhile, there’s also plenty to entertain youngsters.
The Gruffalo’s Child takes to the big screen today (Friday) and Ron’s Gone Wrong is shown on Saturday.
The Gruffalo’s Child sees Gruffalo’s daughter embark on a journey to find the Big Bad Mouse.
Ron’s Gone Wrong is the story of Barney, a socially awkward middle-schooler, and Ron, his new walking, talking, digitally connected device, which is supposed to be his ‘Best Friend out of the Box’.
Both films are shown at 3pm.
