INVESTIGATIONS are continuing after “numerous” complaints about youths targeting buildings at an historic former hospital.
Police had already highlighted concerns about anti-social behaviour at Herdmanflat Hospital, off Haddington’s Aberlady Road.
They noted on social media that they had received “numerous complaints” about the issue and also vandalism at the buildings.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “This has resulted in a number of buildings being broken into and damage caused.
“Police are enquiring into this; however, we would like to highlight the potential dangers that those entering these disused areas could face.”
