A MUSSELBURGH man has been found not guilty of assaulting his former partner following a trial at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Tomasz Mosak was alleged to have pushed the woman to the ground in Edinburgh city centre.
Mosak, of Delta Road, was also facing a charge of taking possession of the woman’s mobile phone in a bid to examine its contents.
He was also alleged to have assaulted a man during the same alleged incident on May 2.
The 23-year-old denied all the charges and stood trial last Wednesday.
The Crown dropped the mobile phone charge before the trial commenced and the assault charge on the man was also dropped mid-trial.
Sheriff Peter McCormack heard all the evidence concerning the other alleged assault and found him not guilty.
