Votes have been cast in elections for three of East Lothian's community councils
THE results of three community council elections could be revealed tomorrow (Friday).
An election was needed to determine the members of three county groups – Garvald and Morham, Haddington and District, and Pencaitland – after more candidates came forward than places available.
A postal ballot was held, with today (Thursday) the deadline for the return of ballot papers.
A spokeswoman for East Lothian Council said there was no timescale for the results to be announced but hoped successful candidates would be confirmed late on Friday.
