Organisations, charities and individuals in North Berwick that are short of funds, or looking for a grant for upcoming or ongoing projects and initiatives, can now apply to the North Berwick Trust.
Applications for its general grants opened last Wednesday and close on October 27 at noon.
Amounts of up to £30,000 are available, but the projects and initiatives the money will go towards need to meet the trust’s funding themes.
The trust will consider applications that support and enhance recreational, cultural and sporting activities and facilities for the community; support and enhance educational and lifelong learning opportunities for the community; conserve and enhance the natural environment and public green space in North Berwick; and improve the sustainability of the community, conserve and enhance the historic and built environment of North Berwick and help those in need in the community.

North Berwick Trust typically offers grants twice a year. In the spring, £144,459 was awarded to 15 projects.
