Police were looking to tackle speeding on Haldane Avenue in Haddington
A NUMBER of drivers have been pulled over by police and one charged with causing and permitting road offences in Haddington.
At a recent meeting of Haddington Community and Police Partnership (CAPP), the issue of speeding on Haldane Avenue was raised and made a top priority for officers.
When officers carried out a speed check in the area, a number of drivers were warned in line with Lord Advocate’s Guidelines.
One was stopped and found to be unlicensed and not insured.
A further driver was charged for alleged offences.
