BUDDING performers in East Lothian are invited to audition for this year’s pantomime at The Brunton in Musselburgh.
The production team is now looking for a chorus of young stars to support the professional cast of Hansel and Gretel.
Those eligible to audition will be in school years P4-S4, aged below 16, resident in East Lothian and able to sing, dance and act.
Auditions are next Saturday (September 18), 10.30am-12.30pm at The Brunton. Audition slots must be booked by email no later than Wednesday. Emails should be sent to theatreadmin@eastlothian.gov.uk detailing the participant’s name, date of birth, address, phone number and school attended.
Successful performers must commit to all rehearsals.
These are held on Mondays and Fridays from September 24 and on October 18-20 during school holidays, as well as dress rehearsals from weeks commencing November 9 and 16, and show dates from November 23 to December 31.
A Brunton spokesperson said: “Joining the chorus is a fantastic experience and a wonderful opportunity to take part in a professional production.”
