A MAN was arrested and due to appear in court last week following an incident in Tranent.
Last Thursday evening, police were called to an address on Muirpark Place following a call regarding concern for a person.
A man was later arrested and charged.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.25pm on Thursday, July 15, police and emergency services responded to a concern for a person call at an address on Muirpark Place, Tranent.
“A 34-year-old man was subsequently arrested from the address following a disturbance.
“He has since been charged and detained in police custody.”
The man was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
