ONLY two year groups at Ross High School are in school today following a number of positive Covid-19 cases.
Most pupils at the Tranent secondary school are now home-learning with only the new S2s and new S5s allowed in the building. The school's S3s were already staying at home.
Parents and carers were contacted by the school yesterday (Monday) and told that there had been "more positive Covid cases in school over the weekend and today".
An email to parents said: “After further analysis of numbers, including the number of pupils and staff now in isolation, the decision has now been made to also move the new S4 and new S6 to home learning via Google Classroom.
“The new S3 will also continue to learn from home for the rest of the week.
“The school will remain open for pupils in the new S2 and S5.”
