MARIA Lyle has stormed to victory and claimed her second gold medal at this years' World Para Athletics European Championships in Poland.
The 21-year-old, who lives in Dunbar, finished first in the T35 100 meters earlier today (Saturday), setting a new championship record time of 14.39 seconds.
On Wednesday she broke her own seven-year-long championship record time, winning the T35 200 metres race in 30.75 seconds.
She now holds eight European championship titles.
Being held in Bydgoszcz in Poland, the competition was supposed to be held between June 3 and 7 last year but was postponed a year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
