A TWENTY-THREE-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital with “serious injuries” following a crash on the A1.
Police were called out at about 8.30pm on Friday after reports of an accident at the Thistly Cross Roundabout, on the outskirts of Dunbar.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland encouraged people to get in touch with any information about the accident.
They said: “Emergency services attended and the 23-year-old male driver was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment to serious injuries.
“Medical staff describe his condition as stable.
“The female passenger did not require hospital treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and anyone with information can contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 3877 of Friday, April 16, 2021.”
