A MUSSELBURGH man has been placed on a drug treatment order after admitting to several offences in the town.
Dean Conner, of Links Place, attempted to break into two vehicles and steal the contents from within at Windsor Gardens on March 27 last year.
Conner was then found within the curtilage of an address at the town’s New Street with the intention to commit a theft on March 30.
The 36-year-old also admitted attempting to gain entry to a vehicle at Rothesay Place on February 28 this year.
He pleaded guilty to the offences when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Tuesday.
Sheriff Adrian Cottam decided to place the offender on a 15-month drug treatment and testing order in a bid to address his drug intake and his offending.
