SPEED checks will be carried out on one of the main routes in and out of Haddington.
Community police officers have recently been monitoring traffic on the town’s West Road.
A 20mph speed limit was introduced on the street last year, with officers also focusing on Neilson Park Road.
Vehicles, with exceptions, are banned from using the road at certain times of the day, as youngsters make their way to and from the nearby Haddington Primary School.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “These checks will continue over the coming weeks.”
