SOME residential roads in Tranent are set to be closed for more than three months for gas works.
SGN is upgrading the gas network on Lindores Drive and McPhail Square from next week.
The work consists of replacing metal pipes with new plastic pipe to ensure reliable gas supplies.
The western side of Lindores Drive and all of McPhail Square will be closed from 11pm next Friday (March 26) until 11.59pm on June 28.
The eastern section of Lindores Drive, opposite Tranent Juniors’ ground, up to the junction with Northfield will be closed from next Friday at 11pm until 11.59pm on July 11.
